NOTES:
This shows a summary of the total number of employees. It does not show a summary that includes all the WAGES in one place for easy comparison. At this point you have to hunt through the budget for each department and area.

Salary Listing 7-3-2018 PDF
NOTES:  These are the salaries as of July 3, 2018 as filed in the Clerk's Office.
Last year during the budget process Councilman Varner discussed there needs to be a sliding scale or cap on percentages since those earning more get way more of an increase than those earning less. For example, someone earning $30,000 gets a 2% increase it is a $600 raise, whereas some one making $80,000 will get a $1,600 raise. The point was the person making $30,000 is in greater need of the money to maintain an adequate cost of living. Councilman Varner advised the Council to put something in place that is more equitable for those making less. Will the Council look at this aspect this budget season as promised?
